Hi, my name is Joanna, I'm a certified IMDT dog trainer. I am proud to run a professional insured dog training service based in Llandielo.
I have been fascinated for many years with dogs' behaviour, which has led me on a long but interesting road to why our dogs behave in certain ways and how I can understand and improve their lives?
Following on from lockdown, one thing is very clear. WE ALL NEED OUR FREEDOM AND THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE.
Our dog’s freedom has become more and more restricted, so I feel it has become our duty to provide an enriching environment based on their individuals needs, giving them a chance to exercise their innate instincts.
Services
Dog training is in small group classes or 1-2-1s, teaching fun exercises for quality of life whilst improving the bond between you and your dog. I use only modern science-based training which is customised to suit each dog's character and needs, so the dog has confidence in making the correct choices and looks to its owner for guidance.
1-2-1 Training
Personal training sessions allow me to concentrate solely on one dog and their owner, ensuring that you receive my full attention.
I can customize the training to meet your dog’s specific needs, helping them focus on the tasks at hand.
This approach is especially advantageous for dogs that find it challenging to concentrate in group settings.

Dog Training on the Paw: A Dual-Service Solution
Do you need your dog walked during the week? Consider opting for a service that combines walking with training!
This structured service not only provides exercise but also integrates training with a qualified trainer to reinforce the behaviours that owners are working to cultivate.
Whether your goal is to improve loose leash walking, enhance recall, or assist with an anxious or overly excited dog, these individual sessions foster good behaviour and build confidence.
For optimal results, it is highly recommended that owners and dogs participate in a one-on-one session to fully comprehend the training process.
